ADRIANNE Palicki has been cast as Wonder Woman in David E. Kelley's new TV pilot for NBC, Entertainment Weekly reports. And considering her gorgeous looks and incredible height (she's 5-foot-11!), the 27-year-old seems like the perfect choice to play the super Amazon.
Kelley's script for the Wonder Woman pilot has received underwhelming reviews, but Palicki's casting could be the show's saving grace -- after all, she's already received plenty of critical praise for Friday Night Lights and the lauded-but-short-lived Lone Star. Still, the actress has her work cut out for her, as she'll actually be playing three separate roles on Wonder Woman: billionaire business mogul Diana Themyscira, Diana's ho-hum assistant Diana Prince and, of course, the titular superhero.
A few more roles still need to be cast before the pilot goes into production, but Wonder Woman is considered one of NBC's best bets for the Fall 2011 season.
